If you do n't want to go far from the hotel, try Sale e Pepe, which is 900 ft away. Placed within 50 minutes' car ride to Engelberg. A superb base for exploring Wildegg...

Good value for money and the restaurant food was excellent and staff really friendly
It was hot and humid and I had to sleep with my window open. The hotel overlooks the railway station and the next morning at 5am the noise started. I don't believe there was airconditioning but I don't sleep with airconditioning on so there was nothing for it but to be disturbed. Next time I will ask for a room on the other side.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel situated right next to the train station. The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy for me to explore the area. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms were well-equipped with all the basic amenities I needed, and I especially appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness. The breakfast spread was delicious and offered a variety of options to start the day off right.
Everything was perfect, no improvements needed.

As with my stay in 2013, I found the staff helpful and friendly. In particular I mention Frau Vera Schafer, who went out of her way to make it work for us during our Easter stay.
On checkout, having prepaid a substantial sum for accommodation some months before, I was charged 0.40c for a phone call !! Only the Swiss?!

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the train station, making it very easy to travel around. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided was also very good, with a variety of options to choose from.
Everything was satisfactory.

Great restaurant food and friendly staff. The hotel location was convenient for exploring the area and easy to find. The free wifi was a nice perk.
The noise from the nearby train station was a bit disruptive during the night. The rooms could use some updating and were fairly basic.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and good facilities. The location is also very convenient, as it is just across the street from the train station, making it easy to get around. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and well-equipped. One detail that stood out to me was the attention to detail, with windows opposite to the train station which provided a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, the breakfast provided was tasty and satisfying.

The hotel's location was perfect for us as it was RIGHT NEXT to the train station. We loved the fact that we didn't have to travel far for our transportation needs. It was very convenient. We also enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel. They had a good choice of food. The staff was awesome too, as they made us a to-go lunch box when we didn't have time for breakfast.
Couldn't stay longer.

We chose a hotel with a good location next to the train station. Our stay was convenient because we didn't have to walk far with our luggage. the room had large windows, and we had a great view of the surroundings. the bed and sheets were clean, and the staff was courteous. Breakfast was delicious and included fresh coffee and quality ingredients.
The carpets were old and smelly, causing allergies.

It was frustrating to have to ask for shampoo and shower gel multiple times, as they were not regularly replenished. The noise level from other guests was high, making it difficult to sleep at times. The room lacked basic amenities such as a fridge, which would have been helpful for storing food.
